Technical Requirements for Online Registration
Online registration is generally supported on all modern computing devices, including Windows and Mac computers, as well as mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets. However, for the best possible experience and to minimize technical difficulties, we strongly recommend using an up-to-date web browser, such as the latest versions of Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Safari, or Microsoft Edge. Older browsers may lack compatibility with certain website features, which could interfere with the registration process or cause submission errors. To ensure a seamless experience, make sure your device’s operating system and browser are updated before beginning your registration.
Publication Rights Required Upon Registration
When submitting your work, you will be asked to grant specific publication rights. These rights are necessary for promotional purposes related to the exhibition, as well as for the creation of the official catalogue. It is important to note that these publication rights are strictly limited to works that are selected as finalists. This means that if your submission is not chosen for the final exhibition, your work will not be used for promotional materials or included in the catalogue. By granting these rights, you authorize us to reproduce and display your submitted images in materials such as printed and digital media, social media campaigns, and official event publications.
Covering Signatures and Identifying Marks on Your Work
To maintain fairness and impartiality throughout the selection process, all submissions must remain anonymous. Therefore, signatures or any identifying marks must not be visible at any stage of the registration or exhibition process. If you are submitting a digital image of your work, you can ensure anonymity by cropping out the signature area or obscuring it with a black bar before uploading. If you are submitting a physical, original artwork, you may cover your signature with removable masking tape. Signatures or marks on the back of the artwork are acceptable and do not require modification. Once the awards have been announced and the finalist exhibition is underway, any temporary masking tape used to conceal identifying marks can be carefully removed. This policy applies not only to traditional signatures but also to any other visual elements that may indicate authorship, such as personal symbols, initials, or inscriptions.
