FREE ENTRY / The Women In Art Support Award Competition

Eligibility

The Women In Art Support Award Competition embraces an inclusive “Open” theme signifying its unrestricted acceptance of submissions across all categories. All art forms will be given equal consideration, with a focus on the most innovative, skillful, and distinctive pieces. It is important to note that participants must be 18 years or older to qualify for this open art competition.

All mediums and styles are acceptable.

You must be a woman to participate in this Award Competition.

The Deadline for submissions is October 16, 2023

Awards

After winning the competition, the award money will be entirely at your discretion to utilize as you wish. We respect your autonomy in deciding how to allocate the funds. The prizes to be awarded will be determined based on the number of art pieces submitted and the overall quality of the artwork submitted.

First Prize Award | $300-$1,000

Runner-Up Prize Award | $100-$400

Merit Prize Award | $25-$100

Honorable Mention Award

Finalist Award

Fees

This competition is FREE to enter. Only artists accepted as finalists will be required to pay a $35 participation fee. Finalists will move on to the final round of jurying in consideration for monetary and other awards and will have their work exhibited on the Women In Art Online Gallery.

18 OCTOBER 2023 | Finalist Notification Starts

25 OCTOBER | Finalist Fees Due (Those whose fees are not paid on time will be excluded from consideration as a finalist.)

30 OCTOBER 2023 | Cash Prize Notification Starts

5 NOVERMBER 2023 | Exhibition of Winning Artworks Starts

5 NOVEMBER 2023 | Cash Prize Distribution Starts***

*** All cash prizes are given out via PayPal. In order to participate, you must have a PayPal account.

EARLY APPLICATION: All applications received prior to September 29, 2023 will be automatically shortlisted as finalists, will be included in the online exhibition, and move on to the final round of jurying for awards consideration.

Application is simple.

Name, Title, Medium, Date created, and Price

(Works do not have to be for sale, and we do not take commission on works sold. You retain the full purchase price if your work sells)

Please send all images as JPG/JPEG attachments and your info in the body of the email or in a word document.
